My involvement in the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed commenced in 1985 with the purchase of Zeus as a pet and companion to keep me company when my husband was working in the bush.
An interest in showing quickly developed and I was rapidly recruited by the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of WA as a committee member; within two years I had commenced breeding under the Koninklik prefix.
Over the years Koninklik has had thirteen champions to its name of which eight were titled by myself (during this time I also titled another three Rhodesian Ridgebacks from other prefixes), a Koninklik girl has been an invitee to the contest of winners, several of the Koninklik Rhodesian Ridgebacks that I have shown have achieved multiple class in Group, Best in Group, in Show awards, as well as Specialty in Show awards. At the same time my involvement in the dog world continued with membership of the RRCWA committee, the Hound Club committee and, of course, the Show judges training scheme.
I am currently on the Judges Training scheme for Group 3.
